Data collected and purposes
- Newsletter sign-up : your email address and, if you choose to provide them, your profile (student or professional), up to three fields of activity and the language you want to receive it in, as well as your first and last name if you choose to provide them. These choices are used only to put together an issue suited to your situation and to personalize your newsletter: they do not lead to any decision about you, and they are neither sold nor shared. We may read a first and last name in your email address in order to suggest it to you: this guess is only a suggestion, and it is not saved without your confirmation. If we already know your first name, because you gave it to us or through a professional exchange with us, we use it to personalize the newsletter. You can change them at any time through the “Manage my preferences” link included in every email. Your subscription is stored in our database (Supabase), and delivery is handled via Resend.
- Qualification form, contact form and resource requests : your first name, surname, email address and the answers you provide (profile, needs, details). This data is processed to respond to your request, to send you the requested resources and follow-up, and to contact you again as part of a commercial relationship (by email or phone). Emails are sent via Resend and prospect data is stored in our CRM (Supabase). The answers you give in the assessment are processed on the website and are only transmitted once the form is submitted: no third-party service processes them during the process.
- Email engagement tracking : when a prospecting or follow-up email is sent to you, the links it contains pass through a redirect that signals to us that the email was opened. No other information is recorded beyond the fact that a click took place. This measurement is used only to know whether the message is of interest to you, so as not to follow up unnecessarily. You can object to this at any time by writing to alexandre@saint-jean.co.
- Anti-bot protection : forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to limit automated submissions.
- Audience measurement : traffic is measured using Umami, an audience analytics tool self-hosted in Europe, without cookies, which does not collect identifying personal data.
Subprocessors and transfers outside the European Union
The operation of the website and of our commercial follow-up relies on the following providers. Some are established outside the European Union, which involves a transfer of data to a third country.

Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent (newsletter, and any preferences you choose to add), on steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and on our legitimate interest in responding to your requests, conducting our commercial prospecting (contact, presenting offers, follow-up) and keeping the website running properly. You can object to commercial prospecting at any time.
Retention period
Your data is kept for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, then deleted. For the newsletter, your email address and your preferences (profile, fields, language, first and last name) are kept for three years after your last contact with us, then deleted. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link included in every email: sending stops, and your address is added to an opt-out list, kept so that no further email is ever sent to you.
Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection regarding your data. To exercise these rights, write to alexandre@saint-jean.co. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority).
For the newsletter, two links included in every email let you act directly, without having to write to us: “Manage my preferences”, to correct your profile, fields or language, and “Unsubscribe”, to stop the emails. These links are personal to you: anyone who holds them can act on your subscription, so please do not forward them.
Cookies
The website does not use advertising cookies or marketing trackers, and audience measurement (Umami, self-hosted in Europe) is carried out without cookies. The booking page embeds the Cal.com tool, which sets cookies strictly necessary for it to function (anti-bot security and authentication); these functional cookies are not used for advertising tracking.
